The REVIVAL collection includes watches that radiate the charm of the 60s and 70s, but have been brought into modernity by colour accents and innovative technology. As the names of the individual collections already reveal, the watches are designed for different situations and styles to round off the respective look. Here both fashionistas and minimalists get their money's worth. The different collections of LOTUS ladies' watches offer the right wristwatch for every taste. And with great success, because they are also extremely popular outside Spain. It is no coincidence that LOTUS is one of the top-selling watch brands in Spain and is now also exported to other countries. For more than 35 years LOTUS has been producing urban and trendy watches, which also convince with their "inner" values: Often the watches made of high-quality materials have practical functions and in the quartz movements you can feel the Swiss watchmaking art - reliable, durable and precise. On THE JEWELLER you will find numerous ladies' and mens' watches from LOTUS, which impress with their high-quality workmanship, their functionality and their varied designs. In 1984 Rodriguez took over the traditional Festina brand and over the years acquired Jaguar, Candino, Calypso and Perrelet. In 1980, the watch seller became the founder of the LOTUS. With the money he had earned from the watches for the banker, he opened a shop and the Swiss jeweller from whom he had bought the quartz watches became his partner. That is why LOTUS wristwatches still impress today with their clear design, highest precision and a pleasant wearing comfort - and all this at a fair price. More importantly, it is not the appearance that determines the price, but only the quality. What was much more important, however, was the insights he gained: he had business sense. In the weeks that followed, Rodriguez travelled to Geneva several times and earned more than a year's salary from the banker's love of watches.
Back in Barcelona, a banker liked the watch so much that he bought it from Rodriguez for 150 pesetas and asked him to get more of the Swiss watches, because at that time it was difficult to get quartz watches in Barcelona. In short: Rodriguez drove to Geneva, went to a watch shop, picked out a model and traded the seller down from 150 to 80 francs.
A friend told him that if he had lived for so long in a country known for its watches, he must also have such a watch. After a few years he returned to his home country Spain, where fate took its course. Miguel Rodriguez, the founder of LOTUS, demonstrated his daring, but also his pronounced economic thinking: in 1968 he went to Switzerland with hardly any money in his pocket and without mastering the language.
